I've seen quite a fair few of these type of blog posts floating around on the blogosphere, and seen as how I'm looking and feeling pretty damn awful today (far too much wine consumed last night) I figured taking pictures of my make-up would be a whole lot more fun than taking pictures of myself.

So here is my make-up bag

And all the crap I keep in it
Took these with my phone because my camera's out of batteries (again) so apologies for the quality.

Maybelline Collosal Volume Express cat eyes mascara. Love this stuff and probably use it the most out of all my mascaras. The wand has a slight curve to it which I think it what makes the mascara go on so well and give really defined lashes. Just wish it wasn't so expensive!
Rimmel Scandal Eyes mascara. I don't really like the brush on this; it's quite big and bristly which I'm not used to. Gives reasonably defined lashes though, although I find sometimes the brush gets too much liquid on it so it goes on a little too thick for my liking.
Collection 2000 super size fat lash mascara. Not really a fan of this mascara to be honest. I only bought it because it was cheap and I was low on cash at that time. Hardly does anything to my lashes so I never use it.
Maybelline Colossal Volume Express Waterproof mascara. Used to be my favorite mascara up until I discovered the cat eyes stuff. Still a pretty decent mascara and slightly cheaper than the cat eyes which is a bonus.
Rimmel waterproof gel eyeliner. I really liked the idea of this, as you basically get a little brush concealed in the top that you pull out and then use to apply the gel. Easy enough to apply once you get the hang of it but I was so disappointed as it doesn't stay on that long at all and starts to smudge and run down my face after a couple of hours.
Maybelline eye studio color explosion duo (purple). I have another eye shadow pallet that I also use, but I love the colour of this one. Goes on really well and looks really nice with the shiny glittery stuff over it.
2true effortless waterproof eyeliner. Originally bought this while browsing in Superdrug because I needed a cheap liquid liner. Pretty sure it was only about £2 but it's actually one of the best liquid liners I've ever owned. Has a thin and delicate brush so it's easy to apply and doesn't rub off or smudge easily at all.

Rimmel Wake Me Up foundation (Ivory). Love this foundation far too much. Usually I find even the most palest foundations are too dark on my skin but this one blends in with my skin tone really well (and its SPF 15 so double winner).
Maybelline Pure Cover Mineral concealer. Really good concealer, although if I don't properly rub it in it looks a little orange on my skin. Also doesn't stay on that long so have to keep re-applying during the day which is a bit annoying.

Carmex lip balm (original). Think this is actually my friend's because I usually get the flavored lip balm. Will always recommend Carmex whenever someone asks for a decent moisturizing lip balm, full on love the stuff.
Carmex lip balm (mint). You can never have too many flavours of Carmex - this isn't one of my favourite flavour (taste reminds me too much of toothpaste) but it still moisturizes my lips really well so does the job it's meant to.
Wow - looking at that list I actually own more make-up than I thought I did. As a general rule I'm incredibly lazy and so I only really wear make-up if I'm actually planning on leaving the house that day. Probably a good thing really - add a make-up addiction to my already crippling shoes, hair and clothing obsessions and I don't think my bank balance would be able to cope!
Finally, on a more personal note, this weekend is the last time I can class myself as a broke and unemployed graduate as I'm finally starting work full-time on Monday! Massively excited to start - although maybe not so excited about the 7am starts I'll be having to do some days - just still can't quite believe I'm going to be joining the real working world! EEK!
Hope everyone's been enjoying their weekends so far!
