What I did in December

3 major things happened to me in December.

I turned 25
The new Star Wars film came out
Christmaaas!

Here's a little look at what I got up to this month, via my Instagram pics...

Turning 25

5 years ago I spent my 20th birthday getting drunk in a club at Uni. The night ended with me chillin' on the kitchen floor, trying to convince everyone I was a cheesecake ("What kind of cheesecake Sam?" - "A cheeeeese flavoured cheesecake!")

Fast-forward half a decade and things have definitely changed a little! In the morning I went for breakfast at Frankie and Benny's, then went to see the new Star Wars film at the IMAX (which btw was AWESOME). On the evening I headed out to my work's Christmas Party in Birmingham, where I drank a little too much wine, but managed to resist going out on Broad Street afterwards.

It's weird, because when I turned 20 I freaked out about it a lot. The end of my teenage years was a big shock to the system, however turning 25 actually hasn't been so bad. I'm actually quite happy to embrace my mid-to-late 20s! Just don't remind me that I'm now a quarter of a century old. Otherwise we will no longer be friends...

Christmas

This year I spent Christmas morning and afternoon at my Mum's, followed by Christmas evening at Rory's. As Christmases go, it was a pretty good one! After opening up our presents (you can see what I got for Christmas here!) we settled down for Christmas Dinner, which was as delicious as it looked! My mum got my sister Cluedo as one of her presents, so we decided to play a game in the afternoon. It seems I am still the undefeated Cluedo champion of the family hehe.

Happy New Year!

And finally... Happy New Year from me, Bilbo and Tallulah! I'm going to a house party tonight at my friend's house, which I'm really looking forward to. Anyone else not really a fan of going out out on NYE? I've done it a couple of times in the past, but it's never been as good as I was expecting.
