It's been one of those months where I feel like I've done loads, but don't really have a lot to show for it. Well, other than a snazzy new pair of shoes and the coolest pyjamas I have even seen... but you get my drift. It's been 3 weeks since my last blog post (say whaaat) and the time has flew by without me even realising it. It's difficult when you really want to blog, but literally don't have the time.
I've said it before and I'll say it again - I love blogging, but I also enjoy 'real life.' Recently I've been enjoying real-life a lot, which is why my blog has taken a bit of a back seat. And to be honest, it's been nice taking some time out without the pressure of having to write regularly or keep my social media accounts updated. I'm not ready to give up on my blog just yet (not by a long shot!) but I think what I need is to think about the reasons why I enjoy blogging, and where I want to take this little space on the internet.
Anyway. Enough of the deep stuff! Here's what I got up to this month via my Instagram photos...

The first time I met my boyfriend I'd had a few too many glasses of wine, and apparently decided to tell him over and over (and over) again that he has the same name as my sister's cat (who was also once one of my kittens!) A couple of weekends ago we went to a wedding reception, which was a lot of fun, and also a pretty good excuse to whip out my Sugarhill Boutique flower power dress again! I'd been panicking over what to wear right up until the last minute, but luckily found this bad boy hiding in the back of my wardrobe. Panic averted!
Star Wars Experience at Madame Tussauds London
A few weeks ago I headed down to London for the evening to see the new Star Wars experience at Madame Tussauds. If you love Star Wars I'd definitely recommend going, especially if (like me) you've never been to a Madame Tussauds before. The detail that's gone into creating the characters is amazing, and who doesn't want a selfie with Yoda!?
Etc.
I also finally got round to watching The Imitation Game! I didn't know much about the film before I saw it (other than it had been nominated for a load of awards) but it definitely lived up to the hype. Benedict Cumberbatch is amazing (new man-crush alert).
