There was once a time where even in the dead of Winter I'd try to get away with wearing a coat as little as possible, much to the disapproval of my Nan and other responsible adults in my family. Now I'm older and wiser however there's very little I love more - at least when it comes to wrapping up against the cold!
Although I already have a fair few Winter coats they're all getting on a bit now so I really think I need to invest in a new one for this year. I've put together a collection of my favourites I've seen around recently, although I'm seriously struggling deciding which one to go for. Anyone want to give me a hand!?

1. Oasis; 2. She Inside; 3. Topshop; 4. Mango; 5. New Look; 6. Miss Selfridge
I love the contrast collar on this one from Oasis and although it's pretty expensive I imagine I'd get plenty of wear out of it! The mint colour of this one from She Inside is also so pretty and the cheapest of the bunch at just over £30. I also really like the simple but classic style of this pale blue one from Topshop (quite similar to the red coat my Nan gave me last year) and I think the colour would be really versatile!
I already have my checked vintage blazer so I'm not sure whether I should go for either of these ones from Mango and Miss Selfridge as they're quite similar in pattern. Saying that - can you really have too much check in Winter!? Finally this coat from New Look is my favourite Autumn colour burgundy and as it has that longer length I reckon it would be pretty practical.
Which is your favourite from the lot? Have you got your Winter coat sorted for this year yet?
