Right now I'm loving... shirts!

Very nearly accidentally published this blog post with a very different (more dodgy) title - luckily I spotted it in time or that could have been slightly awkward... The consequences of blogging when you’re full on cream crackered.

I’m pretty sure I’ve said before about how much I love love love casual shirts and blouses. I especially love that they’re so versatile and are great for bridging the gap between summer and autumn (and vice-versa).

Here’s a pick of only some of my favourite shirts I most definitely want to buy once I get paid my first wages - definitely makes the long hours and 7am starts worth it!

1. Wine studded collar shirt - Own the Runway; 2. Scalloped collar blouse - Miso at Republic; 3. Dog tooth check blouse - Glamorous at Republic; 4. Leopard print boxy shirt - River Island; 5. Colour Block Sheer Sleeveless Shirt - Own the Runway; 6. Blue scarf print shirt - River Island

Love this wine studded collar shirt from Own the Runway, almost identical to my white sleeveless shirt I mentioned in my last post (only with longer sleeves). This one would be perfect for Autumn/Winter when it gets a little cooler. Numbers two and three would be great tucked into black shorts or a black skater skirt, like this one from Miss Selfridge. You can never have too many white shirts in my opinion - they literally go with nearly everything.

I'm a big fan of two-tone, which is why I really like this one from Own the Runway. I have a dress in similar colours (one of my most favorite dresses I own) and this reminds me of that one. I don't usually like leopard print, however I love the style of this one as its look quite loose and like it would be soo comfortable, same with this scarf print one also from River Island. They'd look great thrown over shorts while it's still semi-warm, then equally great with skinny jeans come Autumn and Winter.

Who else is loving shirts at the moment? What are you wearing yours with?

Yeah I think Autumn and Spring are my favorite seasons. Prefer it when it's not too hot but not freeezing cold either!

Oh yes I am a big shirt fan too, I live in them casually. My chambray shirt has been attached to me for the last 6 months. The scarf print is my fav here x

Yeah I like the scarf one too, especially cos it's such a relaxed style, and the the print is sooo cool.
