Is it possible to be in love with a phone? Because I'm pretty sure that I am! If you follow me on Twitter or Instagram then you may have seen a few weeks ago I decided to upgrade my phone from a Samsung Galaxy S4 to a Samsung Galaxy S6. Now that I've been using it for a while, I thought I'd write a quick review on my thoughts so far...
Why the S6?
The main reason I went for the Galaxy S6 is because I knew it would be similar to my old phone (only better!) I debated for ages between this one and the S6 Edge, but when I saw them both up-close I decided I much prefer the design of the S6. Plus it was slightly cheaper!
I've had Samsung phones for the last 4 years, and in my experience they've always been really reliable. I also much prefer the Android operating system compared to Windows and IOS. I like that you can get all the apps you need, and you can set it up so that everything syncs easily to your google account.
The Good
One of the most important things I look for in a phone is the camera. I thought the one on my old phone was pretty good, but on the S6 it's even better! The focus is super fast, and even in low-light settings the quality is incredible. I also like that when you're using the front-facing camera you can tap anywhere on the screen to take a picture. So much easier than trying to fiddle around to get your finger on a button!
Good battery life is also essential for me, and the S6 doesn't disappoint. It charges within an hour or two, and seems to last for aaages. And by ages I mean around 1-2 day with heavy useage. If I wasn't such a social media addict it would probably last a lot longer! There's also an "Ultra Power Saving Mode" option, which basically limits your phone useage to the bare essentials so the battery lasts a lot longer. I'm forever forgetting to take my charger with me when I'm away from home, so this could prove very useful!
I also like that you can use your fingerprint to lock and unlock the home screen. Yes - I'm one of those people! It may be just a gimmick, and it doesn't really make much difference to the functionality of the phone, but I still find it pretty darn cool.
The Not-So Good
One little thing that got on my nerves straight away is that you can't put a memory card in it. All of my music and photos are saved on the memory card I had in my old phone, and I haven't got round to transferring it all over yet. You also can't take the back off or remove the battery, which could be a pain in the future if I ever need to replace it.
The only thing left to do now is find a case for it. I don't know if it's because I'm looking in all the wrong places, but so far most of the cases I've seen are either really boring or only suitable for the S6 Edge. If you've seen any around then please let me know!

I definitely like the sound of this as the main feature for me when looking for a phone is a good camera, shame about the case difficulty though! xxx

I recently got the S6 and the camera is definitely the winner for me - it's so much better than my old Xperia phone! I'm still in awe of how beautiful it is too... xD
