Taking a break from writing about Walt Disney World to talk about Universal Orlando! We spent 2 days in total at Universal, and on our first day we spent most of our time exploring The Wizarding World of Harry Potter.
Universal has two Harry Potter parks; Diagon Alley and Hogsmeade. Connecting the two is the Hogwarts Express Train, which you can ride if you have a park-to-park ticket. We spent the morning in Universal Studios, before heading over to "London" for a mooch around Diagon Alley...

Diagon Alley
The attention to detail here is incredible. Words can't even describe how it feels when you first catch sight of the dragon sat on top of Gringotts. If you wait long enough you can even see it breathe real fire!
Most of the shops are real so you can go inside and have a look around them. They even have a Florean Fortescue's Ice Cream Parlour! I tried the butterbeer flavour and can confirm it is delicious. Much nicer than actual butterbeer, which I find is way too sweet.

Hogsmeade
We found Hogsmeade was a lot bigger than Diagon Alley, and a bit more crowded. It was definitely a little weird walking past snow covered buildings in the 30 degree heat! It was so hot at one point we had to go inside just for the air-conditioning.
They also have a few more rides here, including Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey which is actually inside the Hogwarts castle. Walking through the castle was incredible, although the ride itself made me feel a little sick. I love big scary rollercoasters, but those 4D simulators just make me feel ill.

If you ever visit The Wizarding World of Harry Potter, make sure you ride the Hogwarts Express in both directions. I won't say too much in case it spoils it for anyone who hasn't been yet, but you won't regret it!

Have you ever visited The Wizarding World of Harry Potter?
