Me Before You was one of my favourite books when I read it a few years ago, so I was very excited to read this next installment from Jojo Moyes. I put off downloading it for a while as I’d read a few negative reviews when it was first released, however I'm glad to say that in the end I really enjoyed it.

After You picks up around 18 months after the end of Me Before You. Louisa Clark has settled in London and is working a dead-end job at an airport bar, despite her promise to Will to live life to the fullest.
Lou is feeling lost, but what she does know is that something has to change.
Then, one night, a stranger appears on her. Do they hold the answers Lou is searching for - or just more questions?
Close the door and life continues: simple, ordered, safe.

Review
It’s hard to give away much more of the story without spoiling it, but there’s a lot of new character which Lou meets and interacts with (some I liked and some I didn’t!) T
here’s no denying this book isn't as good as the first book, and I think this is mostly because it’s not as emotional. I cried bucket loads at the ending to Me Before You, but with After You I didn’t feel that same response.
However it’s a solid sequel and I’m looking forward to reading book 3.
