What I did in June 2015

Is it just me, or is it really, really hot outside today?

It seems Summer is finally here, and I for one am pretty excited! Melting in the heat isn't usually my cup of tea, but I always seem to feel happier when the sun is out. Plus, it's officially Barbecues and Beer Garden season. Enough said.

This month has been a bit of a mixed bag. And by that I mean I haven't really done a lot, other than drink and eat too much. But mostly eat too much. Nevertheless, here's what I got up to in June via my Instagram photos...

The Food

I told you June was a good month for food! Last weekend I was meant to be going to a Beer and Cider Festival, only when we got there we found that they'd rain out of Beer (booooo) so we ended up going to a couple of pubs instead. It was pretty disappointing not being able to go to the festival, but the Fish 'n Chips and Passion Fruit flavoured Cider almost made up for it.

The New Make-up

A few weekends ago I popped over to the Debenhams' Benefit counter to have a little mooch around... then ended up coming away with 3 new products to try out. *facepalm.* In my defense, I've used them almost daily since I bought them, so they've 100% been worth the money!

The Max Factor False Lash Effect Mascara is another item that popped through my letterbox this month. You may have seen the Tesco Beauty campaign on Twitter earlier this month where you could nominate a friend to receive a free sample, and I was lucky enough to be nominated by the lovely Sarah! Full review hopefully coming soon (once I've got my blogging mojo back in gear!)

THIS TOP from Miss Patina. Because it has cats on it. No other reason necessary. Also - the Game Of Thrones season finale, even though I accidentally saw a spoiler online before the episode had even aired in the UK (grrrrrrrrr).
