Today was sunny! And not just sunny but warm to the point it is actually colder inside my house than outside of it at the moment! Therefore I decided to leave off the tights for today and head out bare-legged in my green speckled Topshop dress. And my favorite (and only) hat because I reckoned it looked proper cool and totally went with the outfit I slept on my hair funny and I'm having a bad hair day.
It was only after taking these pictures that I realised dark green is kind of a Christmassy colour. As actually is Red. On further thought so is red and green together. It seems I accidentally went wandering around today looking like a Christmas tree. In April. Whoops!

Dress - Topshop; Shoes - Primark; Hat - River Island; Bag - New Look; Necklace - Ever Ours; Sunglasses - Topshop; Bracelet - New Look
The red pumps I originally wore back at the end of August when I went out in fancy dress as Velma from Scooby Doo! I dug them out the other day though when I remembered I had them 'cause I realised they'd go pretty well with my new red Topshop sunglasses. The bracelet is also new and from New Look who have buy one get one free on jewellery at the moment (so it would have been rude not to take advantage - right?)
Anyway that's enough about my outfit because I have some really exciting news I want to share!
I'm going to write a full blog post on this at a later date but yesterday afternoon I came home from work to find out my cat Tallulah had given birth to a litter of kittens - in my wardrobe of all places! We'd suspected she was pregnant from the way she's been looking and acting the last month or so (it's just not normal for your cat to look like she's swallowed a watermelon!) but the vet couldn't feel anything and since the people I got her (and Harley) from had said she'd been neutered I didn't really know what to think!
Like I said I'll explain more of the story in a later post but for now I'm just happy her and her (FOUR) kittens are safe and healthy. If you want to see a quick picture of them there's one on my twitter here. Very aware of not disturbing her or the kittens too much so I've only manage to take a couple on my phone. More soon though once they've got a bit older :)
