Inspiration for this blog post has come from the fact that the London 2012 Olympics start at the end of this week! In recognition, I've dedicated this post to all things British.

Union Jack T-shirt - AX Paris; Across Body Bag - Debenhams; Sunglasses - ASOS; Leggings - Topshop; Boots - Boohoo; Shorts - Topshop
I love these retro sunglasses from ASOS (and they're pretty cheap as well!) I think Union Jack accessories especially (e.g. sunglasses, bags etc.) are an easy and simple way of jazzing up an outfit without going too over the top. I also think these leggings would look great paired with just a plain over-sized t-shirt or shirt (as would the shorts) and you can't go wrong with a t-shirt teamed with jeans and a blazer.
I'm really looking forward to the Olympics this year; I was fortunate enough while I was still at University to see the Olympic torch as it passed through Bangor (where I went to Uni). The parade passed right down the end of my road, the atmosphere was buzzing and it really got me excited for the games to start.

As you can see I unfortunately was unable to get a picture of the actual torch; however I did snap a beautiful picture of the back of this guy’s head; (yeah, I was gutted).
How’s everyone else feeling about the Olympics? Who else is planning on watching it?

Didn't catch it in Bangor (was long gone!) but saw it when it came by my house down south, was a good few hours! I'm definitely watching the equestrian events (going to watch the show jumping next Tuesday :D) and looking forward to the swimming, gymnastics, athletics and pentathlon :) x
Ooo that's so cool! I do like the equestrian events. I think the gymnastics events are my favorite though - I caught some when the last Olympics were on and was sat there in complete awe! x
