The Birthday Outfit

If you read my last blog post you'll have seen that it was my birthday on Wednesday! I turned 24 (eek!) which is kind of scary, but I have a feeling it's going to be a good age :-) I booked the day off work and so spent most of the afternoon shopping in Stratford with my Mum, then on the evening we went out for a meal with the rest of my family.

Every year my friends and family seem to buy me presents which are somehow related to cats (example: the cat monopoly game my mum got me). It's got to the point now where I'm starting to think they're trying to tell me something haha #crazycatlady4lyf. In keeping with the kitty-theme I decided to wear my beauuutiful Sugarhill Boutique cat collar blouse, which is basically my dream top. Perfect colour, shape and style - what more could you want!?

These photos were taken on the riverbank in Stratford, because I just couldn't resist that gorgeous backdrop! I decided to have a go at shooting in RAW mode with my camera for the first time, and although they took forever to edit I'm really happy with how they turned out.

Overall though I had a really lovely birthday... And now it's officially time to start getting (more) excited over Christmas!!
