Me and my mum decided to take advantage of us both being off work yesterday by going out for lunch to a place called the Old Yarr Estates, which is a farm shop and tea room located just outside of my home town.
I'd never been before but the café there is so so lovely! They have a great menu, including a selection of sandwiches, baguettes and paninis all using fresh produce grown on the farm. I had a goats cheese and roasted pepper panini while my Mum had a prawn salad, all washed down with the most delicious cola drink I have ever tasted.

Afterwards we took a walk down to see the farm animals before my Mum suggested we go strawberry picking. Seemed like a good idea at the time until we realised we were both wearing some pretty high wedges on our feet...
Inappropriate footwear aside - swiftly removed as soon as we'd got to the strawberry field - it was actually a really good laugh. I'd never been strawberry picking before, not even when I was a kid, so it was fun to do something new and different.

Top - Boohoo; Shorts - Boohoo; Bag - New Look; Shoes - New Look; Necklace - New Look
I wore my new boohoo polka dot shorts - another item bought with my giveaway winnings - with a simple vest top and wedges (great idea they turned out to be haha). The shorts are made from a thin chiffon material which makes them perfect for the warm weather that's going on at the moment.
I'm having a few friends round for a BBQ tomorrow so I'm hoping the weather stays nice enough for it! I think I've said this before but I'm probably one of the worst people in the world to host a BBQ since the only burgers I eat are of the Quorn or vegetable variety! It should be a good evening anyway though, then I have my Auntie and Uncle's joint 40th birthday night out the day after so a bit of a busy weekend!
Have you got any plans for the weekend? What do you reckon to my strawberry picking outfit? Other than the obvious footwear fail haha!

Now that is one perfect strawberry picking ensemble :) super sute xx
Thank you :)
