For Christmas my Nan bought me this lynx for girls’ body spray and shower gel gift set. I jokingly asked her as I opened it “Oh Nan is this ‘cause you reckon I’ve been single for too long? Hahahahaha.” To which she replied in all seriousness “Well... Yeah.”

I’ve been using both products for about 5 weeks now. While I haven’t found myself fighting off blokes with wooden sticks during that time, I have found myself habitually reaching for the shower gel every time I have a bath and spritzing on a bit of the body spray every morning.
They both smell like a mixture of watermelon and cucumber to me. Fruity but fresh and not too sickly sweet which I expected from how bright the packaging was. The first time I used the body spray my mum actually commented “Oooooh you smell nice!” which is a definite compliment to the body spray, although possibly not so much to me judging from the shock in her voice as she said it...
(That was a joke by the way. I’m sure I don’t normally smell that bad.)
Overall I found that they both did the job they're meant to and I did enjoy using both products; however I think it was the concept of it being "Lynx for girls" that really made the product stand out more than anything. Gotta hand it to Lynx, they sure do know how to work an advertising campaign. As to whether I'd buy it again, I'm not sure, but if my Nan were to buy me another set for Christmas next year I certainly wouldn't complain.
