My Everyday Makeup Products

When it comes to makeup I tend to live by the mantra "If it ain't broke, don't fix it." I have a habit of sticking to what I know and love because I struggle to find products that suit my skin type. The joys of being pale eh?

I've been using the same everyday makeup combination for a good few months now, so I thought I'd share the products that I use (almost!) daily.

The POREfessional primer benefit

Benefit POREfessional

The best primer I have ever used! Seriously. I first tried it about a year ago when I received a sample at a blogger event and liked it so much I had to go out and buy the full size tube! I love the silky feel to it and the way it glides onto my skin smoothly. I've almost ran out of my current tube but I'll definitely be restocking it.

Benefit Big Easy bb cream

Benefit Big Easy

Another favourite from Benefit! I've always struggled to find foundations and concealers that match my colouring, then a few months ago I was at the Benefit counter in Debenhams and the sales assistant convinced me to give Big Easy a try. Hey presto - it was a match! The formula is light and creamy but still gives a good amount of coverage. I use a thicker foundation for nights out and special occasions, but this is perfect for day-to-day wear.

Urban Decay Naked 2 palette

Urban Decay - Naked 2 eyeshadow Palette

I <3 this palette. I'd wanted a Naked Palette for ages but was always put off by the price tag. I finally caved and bought the Naked 2 at the start of this year and the quality is unlike any eyeshadow I've used before. The neutral shades blend together perfectly, and you can probably see from the photo above that it's received a lot of love haha.

Max Factor False Lash Effect Mascara

Max Factor False Lash Effect Mascara

I actually received this as a free sample from Beauty at Tesco when they were giving them away through twitter a few months ago. For nights out I reach for Benefit's 'They're Real' as it's more long-lasting. The only problem is it's a nightmare to remove, so I much prefer Max Factor for my daily makeup. I especially like how the wand separates my lashes easily and coats them so they look defined but not clumpy.
