On Sunday I headed in to Birmingham to meet up with a few fellow bloggers for an all-you-can-eat Chinese, some serious shopping (sorry bank balance) and a lock-in at Lush! Half-way to the train station I realised I'd completely forgot my camera (doh!) but luckily the lovely Sarah from Time to See the Stars said I could use hers to take a few photos and then emailed them over to me after!
After a Chinese buffet lunch at Ming-Moon and a talk from the gorgeous Kirsty Lo about Motives Cosmetics we then spent a couple of hours shopping in the Bullring, where I picked up a couple of new bits and pieces, mostly tops but also a new pair of shorts and a skirt from New Look which I'm planning on wearing to a BBQ this weekend.
At 5 o'clock we then went over to the Lush store on New Street where they put on an after hours event for us. I'm a big fan of Lush products (as mentioned in this post a few weeks ago) so I was really looking forward to this part!

What I really love about Lush stores is that their staff are always so friendly and helpful and Sunday evening was no exception! They talked us through some of their favourite products, made recommendations and even treated us to a couple of hand and arm massages! I could have so easily bought half the store but I limited myself to a new facial cleanser which everyone seemed to rave about (Let the Good Times Roll) and a Dragon's egg bath bomb. 'Cause you just can't beat a lush bath bomb. Lush were also kind enough to give us a goodie bag to take away with us which contained some of their Summer essentials, including a body lotion, body buffer and strawberry shaving cream!
A big thank you to Lush and to Paige and Jess for organising the whole day (you did an amazing job!) and again to Sarah for the photos and for being my shopping partner for most of the afternoon! I'd never been to a blog meet-up before but I had an awesome day and I'm so excited for the next one (there is gonna be a next one... right!?)

I have never ever been to a blogger meet up. Looks like fun! I would have had an absolute heart attack if I had forgot my camera ha x
It was so much fun!
I know I was so gutted! I took a few on my phone but it's just not the same. Felt a bit lost without it haha.

I had a great time, I hope you did too :) The team at LUSH were so kind, I think that was my favourite part of the day.
