These New Look high waisted shorts were a bit of an impulse buy. I'd seen them in store a couple of times (and also on the lovely Olivia's blog a few weeks ago) but always resisted buying them because high waisted things can sometimes look a little bit weird on me. On Sunday I finally decided to just go for it and it turns out I actually really like them! They're so flattering and the bright tropical print makes them perfect for Summer. Plus they go really well with my River Island sandals so it gives me a good excuse to wear them more often. Double winner!
I find myself saying this in nearly every outfit post recently but I really hope the weather stays warm enough for me to get plenty of wear out of them this Summer! I'm going to a BBQ this weekend for my friend's birthday too so *finger's crossed* it doesn't turn out to be a complete washout!
I also remembered yesterday it's exactly one month until my blog's two year anniversary! It's hard to believe I've been blogging for so long but I'm really proud of how my blog has grown in that time and I wanted to do something special to mark the occasion. I'm not really sure what yet haha but I was thinking a giveaway or a video or something? If anyone has any ideas or suggestions for what they'd like to see drop me a message in the comment section below! :)
