When you think of transitional dressing for autumn and winter, what's the first thing that pops into your head? For me it's jumpers, jeans and lots of layers, which is why I was pretty excited to hear about George at Asda's #JumpNJeans campaign! The challenge was to create an autumn-ready for under £50.
First up I chose this adorable cat print jumper (because, cats). I've had so many compliments about this already and I love how it looks with this 'faux' collar underneath. It's made from a really lightweight material so it's perfect for layering. Safe to say this will be getting a lot of wear over the next few months!
Next up I went for these distressed denim 'mom' jeans. I haven't worn ripped jeans in almost 10 years, and up until a couple of weeks ago I only really wore skinny jeans. I'm glad that I pushed myself out of my comfort zone though, because I love these! They're made from the softest denim, which makes them super comfy too.

Jumper, Jeans and Collar insert - all George at Asda
Scarf - River Island; Bag - H&M; Shoes - Primark
The total outfit (excluding shoes and some accessories) came to only £36, which is a complete bargain. George at Asda have some fab denim and knitwear ranges at the moment, so make sure you check them out if you're looking for some A/W basics.
What do you think of today's outfit?
