What I did in October 2015

The Lion King theatre and the London Eye

Oh hey London!

So apparently the answer to "What did Sam do in October?" is "Went to London and ate a lot of food..." whoops! I was pretty poorly mid-month, so blogging and the internet took a bit of a back seat. I've still got a nasty cough going on right now (urgh) but hopefully things will pick up a bit once I'm back to 100%.

London and The Lion King

Last weekend was petty darn exciting. My mum decided to treat me and my sisters to a weekend in London - including tickets to see The Lion King! On top of that I also booked us tickets to go on the London Eye. Out of all of us, only my youngest sister had ever been on it before. The view was pretty amazing, and it made for a great start to the Saturday morning.

We then spent a few hours mooching around Covent Garden, before heading to see The Lion King that evening. I don't think I can put into words just how good it was. If you ever get the opportunity to go and see it I would 100% recommend doing so!

On our last day in London we had a few hours to kill before catching the train home, so my mum suggested a quick visit to the British Museum as it was only a 10 minute walk from our B&B. We didn't stay long, but the exhibits we did see were fascinating. Even better is it's free to go in!

Wagamama's chilli squid and yasai yaki soba noodles

The Food

Like I said, October has been a great month for food. Me and Rory went out for Wagamama's a few weeks ago, and I had my usual chilli squid with yasai yaki soba noodles. Delish!

While I was in London I tried GBK for the first time. I had the Californian Veggie burger, and while it was good I think I still prefer Handmade Burger Co., purely because they have a lot more options for non-meat eaters.

Lush Snow Fairy and Cat Shorts

Other Favourites...

Snow Fairy is officially back on the shelves in Lush, which makes me very happy indeed! Have also become pretty obsessed with these cat print shorts from H&M. Full outfit post with these coming up soon.

Hope everyone's had a great month! Don't forget you can follow me on Instagram here.
