"I do not need a new dress. Especially not before pay day."
Basically what I had to keep telling myself over and over again last night as I was sat adding more and more things to my virtual shopping basket. There's so many things I want at the moment it's ridiculous. I've hardly began to stock up on things ready for Spring (has it even started yet!?) and Summer. To save my bank balance from taking a hit before I get paid next week I thought I'd put together this little rather large wishlist post which I've divided into my two (or four if you like) favourite trends for the Spring/Summer; floral & tropical prints and pastels & brights.

Floral & Tropical prints

The floral trend comes around every year but to me it never gets old. I love the bold pattern on this Sugarhill Boutique dress and the colours are so pretty! You can never have too many loose-fit shirts and this one from New Look would be so versatile. I'd wear it with denim shorts or jeans in the day or with some smart trousers or a pencil skirt in the evening if I wanted to smarten it up a bit. I've also noticed loads of tropical prints around recently and these shorts look soo comfy and would go great with just a simple white cami top. All I need now is a holiday to wear them on...

New Look are killing it with their range of brights and pastels at the moment - I popped in earlier on my lunch break and there's so much stuff I like at the moment, as you can probably tell from the above haha! This midi skirt comes in all kinds of colours and they are so easy to throw on when it's warmer with a pair of wedges and a simple vest top. This coral blazer and these pink heels would be an easy way to add a bit of colour to an otherwise plain outfit (sunglasses may be required). I'm also in need of a new clutch bag and the colours and this one are subtle but go really well together. Finally this dress from Miss Patina is literally the coolest. What's not to love about a pretty blue skirt mixed with a hot air balloon print, right!?
