The westie scarf

I've been working nights again this week, which has meant sleeping through most of the day and feeling too tired and lazy to get dressed for the rest of it (until heading back into work of course. Couldn't go showing up for work in my PJs...)

To save myself from freezing on the walk to and from the bus stop (apart from the one day when I stupidly left my coat in my work locker room) I've been wrapping up in jeans, jumpers and my new H&M scarf which I bought while I was back in Bangor last week.

Coat - New Look (old but back in stock); Jeans - Kohls (American store - old); Scarf - H&M

As soon as I saw this scarf I knew I had to have it. My nan has two gorgeous West Highland Terriers (Maisie and Tilly) so I knew she'd approve! It's so warm and cosy, and I love the contrast of the black and white and that you can reverse it and wear either side.

I was forced to admit defeat and start wearing my coat again this week. I bought this in New Look last Winter because I loved the style and the fact the colour goes with most things. I the spotted it again while out shopping the other week and they now have it in a dark red/berry colour as well which is just as nice if not nicer.

How's everyone else been enjoying wrapping up for Winter? I'm actually enjoying being able to wrap up in jumpers and scarves, although not so much enjoying the cold and cough I've also picked up in the last week *sniffle.*

Ooh, your coat looks so lovely and warm, I still haven't got myself a proper 'winter coat' this year, so I'll definitely be taking a look at this one in-store; the dark berry colour is gorgeous, but I think yours is probably a lot easier to style! xx

Yeah as much as I love the colour of the berry one I think this one "goes" with a lot more. It's a really lovely coat, only problem is some of the press studs came off really easily, but I managed to find them and sew them back on tighter so it's all fine now :)
