November summary - in photos

Here's what I got up to via instagram this month. 

Regular readers of my blog will know that my Granddad passed away late last month. I don't think I've ever felt sadness like it although I definitely feel like I'm coping with it a lot better now. And it meant I got to spend a few weeks with my Dad, who I don't see anywhere near as much as I would like. It's hard sometimes having a parent who lives on the other side of the Atlantic.

It feels weird talking about Halloween when it's nearly Christmas but my Halloween night out happened to have fallen in November this year! #whoyougonnacall?; I also finally got a carpet put down in my living room. Cue many more nights in on the sofa with the kitty cats watching Joey Essex on I'm a Celeb! 

Colder weather = EAT ALL THE FOOD! Homemade soup, Costa hot chocolate and Nando's beanie burger.

I love the German Christmas Market in Birmingham. Little cups of spicy wine and pretty lights make me feel all warm and festive inside.

I can't believe it's actually December tomorrow! Officially time to start getting excited about my birthday (as if I'm going to be 23) and quit moaning about people blaring out the festive music because it's "too early" to be thinking about Christmas.
