Motel Rocks Fader Dress

I bought this Motel Rocks fader dress a while ago and although I've worn it on a few nights out I wanted to see if I could make it work for the day time too. I decided to try it with a white shirt underneath to make it kind of pinafore style then pulled it in with a belt and added a cardigan and boots to finish it all off. I ended up liking the result quite a lot!

These photos are kind of a blogging fail. I didn't realise just how wonky my camera tripod was so the photos basically make my garden and shed look like they're diagonal! They're not though, I promise! You can see in the 4th picture that Tallulah decided to try and photo bomb me again so I decided to pick her up for a cuddle. She's such a babe even if she is a little fame hungry!

I'm gonna go all captain obvious now and start talking about the weather - how cold has it got recently!? I'm not complaining too much though - while I love the sunshine I'm more of a Winter girl myself (blame it on being born a week before Christmas!) and I like that I can now bring out my boots and jumpers again and wear them comfortably.

I bought these boots from New Look earlier in the year and never had much chance to wear them as I would have liked - mostly because it was snowing quite a lot around that time and I didn't want them to get ruined! They make my feet very happy though so I'm excited to start living in them this Autumn and Winter.
