Last weekend I went shopping with one of my friends to Westfield Merry Hill (sometimes known as "Merry hell," like last weekend when it took us half an hour just to get out of the car park!) We had a really lovely day though and I managed to restrain myself and not buy too much!
I wore my new aubergine vintage-style dress by Miss Patina (which I mentioned I wanted in a previous wishlist post here). I've convinced myself does not look like my work uniform, in spite of a certain best mate thinking so!

I am actually a little bit in love with this dress (as you can probs tell by the abundance of photos!). The colour, style and quality are all amazing and I can just tell it's gonna be one of those dresses that'll be in my wardrobe for ages!
I wore it with my new grey boots, which I bought in Manchester while I was there last month. I tried them on and really liked them but debated for the rest of the day whether to actually get them 'cause they were £50 which is a lot more than I usually spend on shoes! But my mate convinced me (standard) so here they are chillin' on me feet. I'm glad she did though - they're so comfy and I probably will wear and love them until I physically can't walk in them anymore.
This weekend I'm off work so I'm spending it doing boring things like sorting my house out and fun things like going out for a few drinks tonight with one of my friends. Hope you're having a lovely weekend too whatever you're doing.
I've been wanting to buy this dress, but I'm doubting which size to get. For the length and waist I'm supposed to get a S/M, but for my chest I'm somewhere in between the two sizes. Which size did you get and is the fabric stretchy or not stretchy at all?

Mine's a small/medium and I'm usually a size 8-10. There's a little bit of give to the material but because it's fully lined inside I wouldn't say it's that stretchy... I did find it's a lot larger than I was expecting though if that helps!

Hmm, I'm usually a size 10-12. Do you think it might fit for a size 12, since you say it's a lot larger than you were expecting?
Sorry for all the questions, because the item's on sale there are no returns possible, so I really want to buy the correct size.

Hmm I'd say go for the bigger size then, especially if you're worried about it being too small on the chest! You might find it gapes a bit otherwise and even if it's a little big on the waist I've found it looks good with a belt anyway!
