I would apologise for being a bit absent on my blog this week, but I've been working almost non stop recently (this is the first day off I've had in 9) so when I haven't been at work wearing my uniform I've been tucked up in bed wearing pajamas or one of my onesies (or both!)
Anyway I'm here now, showing off my new skirt and scarf I bought the other week but until today haven't had a chance to wear.

I've been wanted to try the leather-look trend for a while and when I first spotted this skater skirt (also mentioned in my last wishlist post) on the Ark website in black I was really tempted. Then when I saw it was also available in oxblood - my favorite colour of the moment - I snapped it up pronto. I love that it's such a flattering shape and so easy to style. I wore it today with my grey H&M jumper tucked in (it was feeeezing otherwise) and new ASOS fox print scarf (fox obsessed? Me?)
Really missing my fringe at the moment :( I've let it grow out for now because I haven't had chance to pop to the hairdressers but I'm hoping to book an appointment for some time next week so I'll have it back in for my friend's birthday. My forehead's getting a little cold without it!

Hi! I was thinking of getting the same leather skirt as well, just sitting on it at the moment because I'm not too sure about the sizing. Would love to get some advice from you! Do they fit true to size? Are they stretchy? Thanks hun x (:
Hi, yeah I'd say the skirt was true to size, if not maybe a little on the small size. The waistband is quite stretchy though so I found it fits fine.
If you prefer skirts to be a little looser (because I find it's very fitted around the waist) I'd maybe go up a size.

I'm normally between a size 8 and 10 and I got mine in a small.
