The Gingham Checked Shirt

Griffblog // The Gingham Checked Shirt

Ahh if only I lived in London and could take outfit photos on the banks of the River Thames all the time! These were taken last weekend during a flying visit to the capital with my Mum and 2 of my sisters. We went to see Wicked in the West End for my sister's 21st, then did a bit of shopping too. I'd never been to see a show in London before but it was absolutely incredible! We're already planning on going again sometime (maybe for my 25th in December!)

On Morning morning before catching the train home we went and did a bit of sightseeing. My mum hadn't been to London in a good few years so we went to see the Shard, then hopped on over to The London Eye and Big Ben where we had lunch (under the watchful eye of an evil pigeon who seemed determined to steal my lunch!)

There's a lot of clashing patterns going on in the outfit, but I kinda like how they look together. Can't beat a bit of check on check tartan ;-) This gingham checked shirt I bought in New Look on Saturday, then I literally lived in these animal print boots while I was away. They're so comfy and perfect for keeping my feet nice and toasty in this chilly weather!

Big Ben London

This weekend I have no solid plans for the first time in aaages, so I'm really excited to just chill out and catch up on some TV shows!

Hope everyone's had a good week! What do you think of my London outfit?

Gorgeous outfit, I love how you've put everything together! And that backdrop is just amazing - if only we could all take all of our outfit photos in London! :)

I absolutely adore this look! The coat is absolutely gorgeous, I always love pieces from Asda I think their George range is really great value for money yet good quality :) I love Wicked, my favourite musical of all time so glad to hear you enjoyed it :)

Thanks Charlee! Yeah I was so happy when I spotted it in Asda, I'd wanted a pastel coat for aaages!
