The Sugarhill Boutique "Gemma" dress

Today I am wearing the Sugarhill Boutique "Gemma" dress which, by the way, is one of the most flattering dress I have worn in quite a while! I spotted it on the website a few weeks ago and just know I had to have it. I love how bold the colours are and how the material is kind of stretchy so it fits your waist perfectly then flares out to just the right length.

I think it would be ideal with heels for a wedding or with a cute pair of flats for a barbeque or drinks down the pub. Here's hoping this sunny weather continues over the next couple of months so I get plenty of opportunity to wear it!

I love how it looks with my lilac clutch bag from New Look and my grey Primark heels (which were a bargain for only a tenner!) I actually bought them as a replacement for a pair I bought from Faith last year which I managed to ruin on a night out not long after getting them (devastated was not the word). As cute as they look they are nowhere near as comfortable as the originals - I'm not sure whether it's the angle of the heel or that they don't have any kind of platform but they stretch my calves in a really funny way which is pretty painful after a while :-( I think I'm going to have to reserve them for occasions where I won't be doing a lot of walking!
