I decided to pop into Topshop on my lunch break the other day and managed to spend nearly 50 quid within the space of about 5 minutes. Oops! I did come away with some really cool new bits though, including these majorly comfy checked leggings which I decided to pop on yesterday with a man-sized white t-shirt and my trusty leather jacket.

I'm not usually that keen on leggings but because these are made from fairly thick material they feel more like trousers than anything else and I love the blue and green checked pattern. I didn't realise just how much tartan I own until I tried to find a scarf to wear today and realised half of the ones I own are checked... then went to put my usual coat on and realised that it's also checked!
This is basically what I wore yesterday after I finally managed to drag my hungover self out of bed. I went bowling with a few friends late afternoon (I came last in both games. Proper achievement!) then in the evening we went for a carvery then to the pub where my mate's boyfriend was playing at an open mic night. One of the best Sunday's I've had for a long time!
Those leggings are gorgeous, I love tartan so much!
