Just a quick post today with a few random photos and an update of what I've been doing recently! After giving myself a sore throat from screaming too much at McBusted last Friday night (not even a little bit embarrassed) I headed on up to Lancashire to visit one of my best friends from Uni.
We spent most of Sunday shopping at the Trafford Centre (another post coming up soon on what I bought there!) then on the evening went for a few drinks in Southport near to where she lives. On Monday evening we had a barbeque where I discovered a new-found love for Linda McCartney veggie burgers (SO GOOD!) then on Tuesday it was her birthday so we spent it in the Lake District eating, hiking and generally enjoying the gorgeous scenery.
If you've never been to the Lake District before it really is the most beautiful place. I did my Gold Duke of Edinburgh award there when I was in school so it was good to go back and be able to re-enjoy it minus the painful feet and stressful map reading!
Hope everyone's had a good week so far. I've got a lot to catch up on having been away for half a week so tomorrow will more than likely be spent on things like washing and ironing (booo).
