Last weekend made me realise just how unprepared I am for the summer. I swear 90% of my wardrobe is filled with jumpers and jeans... a summer shopping trip is definitely needed soon!
In the meantime, I think I'm pretty much going to be living in these Topshop Mom Shorts. I bought them on eBay last year but never wore them as they were a little tight. Luckily all those hours at the gym over the last few months has paid off, because they now fit almost perfectly!

I can see myself wearing these all summer long as they're so easy to throw on with a loose top and some cute trainers. No effort required. Plus the high waist is super flattering! Sometimes the simplest outfits are the ones you end up loving the most.

I like shorts, they are perfect for summer and if styled correctly can be very classy.
