15 Goals for 2015

15 goals for 2015

Just a few of the things I'd like to achieve this year!

So I may be a little late jumping on the bandwagon here, but I've been thinking recently about the whole resolution thing, and I decided it wouldn't hurt to jot down a few goals I'd like to achieve this year! I've tried to be as specific as possible so I can look back half-way through 2015 and see how many I've managed to complete.

  1. Pass my driving test - I came sooo close to getting there at the end of last year. I have my first lesson since October on Tuesday (wish me luck!) and my aim is to pass by Easter!
  2. Read 50 books - You can follow my progress over on Goodreads!
  3. Attend another blogger meet-up (or two!) - I went to a few last year and met some really lovely bloggers, so I'd love to go to a few more! I've already spotted the #bbmbirmingham2015 meet at the end of February which I'm mega excited for :D
  4. Visit at least one city I've never been to before - I love visiting new places and there's so many cities in the UK I've never been too. Edinburgh and Dublin are both high on my list!
  5. Redecorate my house - Specifically my room, bathroom and living room. I've got the paint, now it's just time to get painting!
  6. Watch all the TV shows that have been recommended to me in the past - There are way too many of these (including The Walking Dead) but I WILL catch up eventually.
  7. Find the perfect black everyday handbag - You know the one I mean; the kind that goes with everything but is still big enough to fit all my crap in
  8. Ditto the perfect coloured foundation for my pale skin - This is an ongoing struggle for me. Every foundation I try I have to go for the lightest shade and even that sometimes makes me look orange!
  9. Complete the 30-day shred - I tried several times to finish it last year, but I kept getting to day 3 before giving up! This year I'm determined to finish it.
  10. Reach 500 Bloglovin' followers and 1000 twitter followers - I know it's not all about numbers, but it's nice to have some way of recording your blog's growth (and I do love a good round number haha).
  11. Learn to use photoshop properly and continue to improve my photography - This is kind of an ongoing thing. My aim is to become more consistent, so I've got my own photography style going on. I'm gradually getting there (I think!)
  12. Get a new phone - The contract on my current phone ends in August so I need to start thinking about which to go for next. I have a Samsung S4 at the moment but I'm thinking I might go for a HTC or Sony next.
  13. Start writing more varied blog post on different topics - There's so many stuff I'm interested in, I'd love to start blogging more about books I've read, films I've watched and places I've visited.
  14. Go abroad somewhere - Even if it's just for a weekend city break!
  15. Visit my favourite restaurants and try something completely new off the menu - I stopped eating meat over 4 years ago, so quite often the menu choices when I eat out can be lacking and I tend to stick to what I know! I'd love to branch out more and try some new dishes.

What goals do you want to achieve this year?

love griff

Not that I am biased or anything but Edinburgh is an amazing city and you should definitely visit!

Hahaha, one of my best friends from Uni lives there and I always hear lovely things about it so it's definitely a city I need to visit one day!

Thanks for sending your link during last night's #socialbloggers! Consider me a new follower on Bloglovin'! Best of luck for your driving lesson (and test), and the rest on your list - I wish I could read that many books in a year but I'm such a procrastinator with it, I get through about two a year!
