I've lived in the midlands my whole life and spend most weekends in Birmingham. My boyfriend lives in the city centre and we're always looking for new places to explore, so I thought I'd put together a guide with my top Birmingham date ideas.
If you're local to the area, or are planning to spend a weekend in Birmingham soon, hopefully this will give you some inspiration on where to go!

Craft beer and pinball at Tilt
Me and my boyfriend went on our first date here so it would be rude not to include it on my list! If you like craft beer then you won't be disappointed with the selection on offer at Tilt. They also serve tea, coffee and cake if you're visiting during the day.

Ghetto Golf
Located in Digbeth, Ghetto Golf is a little different to your usual crazy golf course. Think cocktails, graffiti and some adult-themed holes (lol). Just make sure you book well in advance if you're planning to visit on a weekend, as it's gets very busy on a Friday and Saturday. I haven't tried the food there, but there are plenty of great places to eat nearby. Which leads me on nicely to...

Digbeth Dining Club
I've been going to Digbeth Dining Club for years and it never gets boring. If you've not heard of it before, it's a street food event which takes place every Thursday, Friday, Saturday & Sunday on Lower Trinity Street in Digbeth. They also hold other events around the midlands throughout the year.
The traders vary from week-to-week, but there's usually a variety of different sweet and savoury foods you can try, including meat and vegetarian/vegan options. Make sure you check out my vegetarian's guide to Digbeth Dining Club if you're visiting for the first time.

Bowling and arcade games at Lane7
Lane 7, located in the Cube, is a pretty cool bowling experience. It's a little pricier than your standard Hollywood Bowl, but there also have other activities under the same roof, including retro arcade games, shuffleboard, karaoke rooms and beer pong tables.

Bottomless brunch
There are plenty of places in Birmingham that do bottomless brunch, however my favourite is Urban Coffee on Church Street. It's available every Saturday and Sunday from 10am – 5pm (last reservation is at 3pm). For a set price you get any brunch dish, plus bottomless Bloody Marys or Bucks Fizz within your 2 hour sitting.
For a special occasion, I also love Gaucho's Electric Brunch. It's expensive, so you'll probably only want to go if you're celebrating an event like a birthday or anniversary, but the food is incredible and I love their cocktails.

An afternoon at Cannon Hill Park
On a sunny day I'd recommend packing a picnic and heading to Cannon Hill Park. There's plenty to do there, including mini golf and swan boats. There's also the Birmingham Wildlife Conservation Park (although I've not been there myself).
The last time I went was on a Bank Holiday weekend and the car park was looking full at 11am. I'd recommend arriving early if you decide to drive. Otherwise it's not far in an Uber from the city centre.
Movie night at the Everyman Cinema
Of all the cinemas in Birmingham, the Everyman in the Mailbox is my favourite (closely followed by the ODEON at Broadway Plaza). Instead of your usual cinema-style seats, it has relaxing sofas and the bar serves burgers, fries and freshly made pizzas.
Tickets aren't cheap, but if I want to see a film badly enough at the cinema then I want the experience to be worth it. And there's nothing quite like relaxing on a sofa with a crisp glass of prosecco while enjoying a good movie!
Where are your favourite places to go in Birmingham? Feel free to leave me recommendations in the comments below!

You have so many options! There’s hardly anything near me. I do love a bottomless brunch
I had never heard of bottomless brunch but now I really want one! I love the weekly street food festivals, that sounds amazing.
I'm actually excited to try the Craft beer and pinball at Tilt. I miss playing pinball. I bet it'll be so much fun.
I keep hearing about the pinball bar we have in Birmingham and I honestly need to go! :D

I live about an hour and a half drive from Birmingham but, besides the NEC and the occasional trip to the Bull Ring, I've not explored it much. Tilt sounds fun, I love pin ball machines and that Lord of the Rings ones definitely appeals to me! The Everyman Cinema sounds so good too, I'd love to watch a film sat on a sofa.
Great ideas & places shared by you thanks i will be there in next month i think this post is going to help of me alot
