The Motel Rocks Dress

I bought this dress from Motel Rocks a while ago and have been waiting for a specific event to wear it to. You might have seen me mention in earlier posts that Friday night was my sister's hen night so I figured it would be the ideal occasion. She didn't want a big night out so we just went for a curry in my home town then a few of us went for drinks after. I originally put it on without tights but when the first thing my best mate said to me on walking through my front door was "Nice top Griff!" I figured it was mayyybe a bit too short to go without!

I do love this dress though - I've never bought from Motel Rocks before so I wasn't sure on the sizing (I'm usually in between) but after consulting twitter I went for the larger in the end so it would be more of a relaxed fit. I also wore the same bag and shoes combo I'm wearing in my last outfit post. Possibly (most definitely) my new favorite shoes and bag combo.

Motel Rocks coincidentally have a discount code running at the moment for 30% off with the code "VCMAY30." I'm really tempted to get this midi dress which you might remember me mentioning in one of my past wishlist posts. If the weather stays like it's been today and yesterday then I'll definitely get my wear out of it (...she says while trying to justify it to herself).

I'm off to enjoy the rest of this beautiful sunshine. I'm back in work tomorrow after having over a week off so it would be a shame not to make the most of it right?

How have you been spending your bank holiday weekend? Are you a fan of Motel Rocks?

I really like motel, even though I've only bought one thing from there before but it was a bodycon dress so I wasn't so sure but it was actually really stretchy and fit perfectly. I think you should deffo get that midi dress - I just convinced myself to buy some shorts off ebay; coz I needed them :/ really like your shoes by the way!

That dress is STUNNING! You look amaze! The style really reminds me of Megan Draper in Mad Men. Love the 60s/70s cut of it - wish I could pull it off! I've tagged you in my latest blog post by the way - hope you can take part! :)
