Seen as how it's been too grim and dark outside the last few days to take outfit photos (and my hair is currently in a pineapple knot on top of my head 'cause I'm in desperate need of a haircut) I thought today was the perfect opportunity to do a "house update" kind of post.
Not sure if I've mentioned on the blog before but the house I live in at the moment has needed a lot of work doing to it since my Mum bought it about a year ago. Although it's still not completely finished even now it's a lot closer than when I first moved in - to the point I thought it was worth sharing a few photos so you can see the house I call home.
As you can see my kitchen is still a bit of a building site - I do actually have another kitchen that I use at the moment that's in a wooden extension out the back of the house (which I lovingly refer to as "the shed") but it's leaky and dark and not altogether that nice. Too excited for it all to finally be finished!
Hopefully this has given you a bit of an insight into my little home. Not sure how interested people are in these not-so-fashion-related posts but I always think it's good to mix it up a bit. Plus I'll like looking back on these in a couple of months to compare how much (hopefully better) it looks!
I spent this weekend mostly working but I've got a week and a half off from this Friday which I'm proper excited about. I'm going up to visit one of my University friends next weekend - I haven't seen her since last September because she lives so far away (and went swanning off to Africa for 12 weeks at the end of last year lucky thing) so we're well overdue a catch up!
