The Owl Dress

After finishing my first week of full-time work, I was lucky enough to have been given the whole weekend off for the bank holiday. As well as doing a bit of fancy dress for my friend's birthday, I also popped in to town to do a bit of shopping with another of my friends. I didn't buy anything as I'm trying to wait until my first payday before spending money on "luxuries" such as clothes. It did however mean an opportunity to wear something other than my work uniform (hurrah!) - I opted for my new owl print dress from glamorous at Bank.

You might recognise it's the exact same print as my owl print vest I'm wearing here. I loved the print so much that when I saw the dress version in Bank was reduced to £19 I just had to buy to it. I'm wearing it here with my grey New Look brogues and denim shirt (worn as a jacket).

Owl's are actually my new obsession at the moment. Even the PJs I'm wearing right now have owls on them.

I know owls on clothing/accessories isn't exactly a "new thing" but now I've become more aware of it I'm literally seeing owls everywhere.
